Israel: artillery into northern Gaza fired after mortar attack on southern Israel
Israel fired artillery at an open area in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday after Palestinian militants fired at least one mortar shell into southern Israel overnight, the military said. No injuries were reported in either attack.
The latest artillery fire came after Israeli aircraft on Saturday rocketed sites in northern Gaza that militants used to launch a string of rocket attacks, reported AP.
