Dutch police said Thursday they had arrested two more suspects in the kidnapping of a millionaire's daughter earlier this month.
Amsterdam police said the two suspects were detained on Tuesday and Wednesday in the Netherlands Antilles, a Dutch Caribbean territory spread across five islands.
The police said in a statement they may make more arrests, but did not give further details.
Two other suspects were already being held in the Netherlands.
Claudia Melchers, 37, was abducted Sept. 12 from her Amsterdam home and released unharmed two days later. Her father, chemical manufacturer Hans Melchers, has offered a US$1 million (Ђ830,000) reward for information leading to the arrest of the abductors.
It was unclear why the culprits, who had demanded a ransom of Ђ300 million (US$361.11 million) in cocaine, released their hostage. Police say no ransom was paid, reports the AP.
