Russia to adopt Bulava SLBM by end of 2007 - minister
MOSCOW. Sept 28. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov has announced that the new Bulava submarine-based ballistic missile system (SS-NX-30) will be adopted by the end of 2007.
"We are planning to adopt the fourth generation missile system in the Russian Navy by the end of 2007," he said at a Wednesday meeting in Moscow timed to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the Russian nuclear industry, Interfax reported.
