After a gas explosion, Friday, sparked a fire at a public bathhouse building in South Korea, killing at least five people and injuring 43 others, police said.
Two people were also missing from the afternoon fire at the five-story building in the southern city of Daegu, a police officer said. The human casualties may rise as the police search continues, said the officer, who declined to be named.
Another police officer, Kim Jung-suk, said the fire could have been sparked by a blast in the basement boiler room.
The injured were transferred to nearby hospitals, Kim said, reports the AP.
