A man accused of breaking into the home of actress Jennifer Aniston has pleaded innocent to burglary and other charges.
David Hesterbey, 48, of Santa Barbara, California, was arrested after he allegedly entered the former Friends star's home in Malibu on Thursday.
He was charged with first degree burglary and petty theft and remains in custody on $70,000 (Ј39,000) bail.
A temporary restraining order has also been issued against Mr Hesterbey after Aniston filed a petition against him.
A hearing date for the restraining order - which bars him from contacting the actress and means he must stay away from her home, workplace and vehicle - was set for 14 September.
Los Angeles County District Attorney's spokeswoman Jane Robison said the petty theft charge was a result of him allegedly taking a cab from Santa Barbara to Malibu, but not paying for the ride.
A pre-trial hearing for the burglary and petty theft charges was scheduled for 7 September.
If convicted, Mr Hesterbey faces up to six years in a state prison, according to prosecutors.
