Flights resumed in Pearson, Toronto

Air Canada says its flights originating out of Toronto's Pearson International Airport are resuming this morning.

In a release, the airline says it will try to stick to its normal schedule, but some delays and a limited number of cancellations to and from Toronto are expected.

The airline is advising passengers to check on their flight status before leaving for the airport.

Air Canada cancelled all domestic flights to and from Toronto for the rest of the day after an Air France Airbus skidded off a runway tuesday afternoon.

All 309 passengers and crew on Flight 3-58 survived, with 43 on board suffering only minor injuries, reports National Post.
