Soros is willing to pay wages to Kyrgyz officials
George Soros advocates organizing a special wage fund for Kyrgyzstan's governmental officials.
“I support the idea of the fund supposed to render assistance to the qualified civil servants”, said Mr. Soros at the International Business Conference in Alma-Ata.
“I supported such a fund in Alma-Ata; then I was accused that I was paying to the government, but it's not the case”, - said the financier.
Mr. Soros explained that the Georgian governmental officials gained US$ 1,200 which allowed the president Saakashvili to return the qualified personnel from abroad. “I would support the idea of such a fund for Kyrgyzstan too”, concluded the billionaire.
