The new .xxx suffix will be used for porn sites

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers agreed on Wednesday to allow addresses ending in .xxx instead of the more common .com or .net suffixes.

The world's estimated one million pornographic site operators will not be required to use the new .xxx suffix when a private company designated by the internet regulator begins accepting registrations later this year, tells CBC News.
