Voice, which foretells new violence
The authenticity of the 18-minute tape, posted on a website known for carrying messages from &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/world/20/91/366/14874_.html ' target=_blank>Islamic militant groups, could not be determined. The voice on the tape sounded similar to previous audio tapes attributed to the Jordanian-born militant who leads an &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/main/2002/07/26/33240.html ' target=_blank>al Qaida affiliate in Iraq.
US intelligence officials are looking into the authenticity of the tape, said one official in Washington.
