Konukhov's yacht attacked by jellyfish

Feodor Konukhov's yacht "Scarlet Sails" has gotten into a real jellyfish swamp in the middle of its round-the-world voyage. By means of a satellite phone, the yachtsman has stated today that "it felt like the yacht was sailing through a jellyfish cocktail." "I could clearly hear the rustling sound on the other side of the board. At first, I wanted to catch them with a bucket, but then decided not to, since they could've been poisonous…" Yesterday, the weather was stormy all day long. The Indian Ocean, according to Konukhov, isn’t welcoming at all. This is already the fourth time the yachtsman is sailing the waters in this particular part of the ocean and every single time he is being followed by gigantic waves. At night, gusty winds were reaching 50 knots. Feodor thought the sail would be torn apart.

The past day turned out to be quite turbulent. Nevertheless, the yacht managed to cover more than 180 mile distance and a total of 10 000 miles since the beginning of the journey.
