Coca-Cola strugling for its world leader place

The popular soft drink maker &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/main/18/90/360/11925_cola.html ' target=_blank>Coca-Cola Co. had to pay attention to its 2005 outlook after sharply lowering its longer-term targets and weakening in key markets including North America, the Philippines and Germany. Its shares were down more than 2 percent in early trading.

The forecast announced Thursday came as a result of an operational review that chairman and chief executive Neville Isdell and other senior managers have been conducting for several months. Isdell was named CEO in May to replace the retiring Doug Daft.
