Real life test for actor Burt Reynolds

Actor Burt Reynolds is ready for fighting against his ex-girlfriend. It will be the most difficult real life test, after surviving in some testing situations on the screen.

The "Deliverance' star has reportedly filed a lawsuit accusing his former girlfriend of 10 years, Pamela M. Seals, of extortion, reports New Kerala.

According to the News.Scotsman, Burt is suing a former girlfriend, alleging that she was threatening to falsely accuse him of abuse if he did not pay millions of dollars in extortion.

The lawsuit says Pamela Seals falsely accused Reynolds of yelling at her and stomping on her toes. Seals, who was Reynolds’ girlfriend for ten years, allegedly threatened to go public with her claims.

Reynolds’ lawyer, Bob Montgomery, has called Seals’ threats blackmail. "She wanted more and more and her demands were absolutely exorbitant," Mr Reynolds' lawyer Bob Montgomery said.

In a statement, Mr Reynolds described the situation as "unfortunate" but would not be "intimidated by false accusations".

Mr Reynolds, who rose to fame in on television in the 1960s, and is well known for his work in films such as Smokey and the Bandit, and, more recently, Boogie Nights, says BBC News.
