Disaster after powerful earthquake in Japan
A strong &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/science/19/94/377/11867_war.html ' target=_blank>earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale and swarms of aftershocks rocked central Japan and the capital Tokyo on Saturday, killing at least eight people including four children, officials said.
The powerful tremors injured more than 500 people and destroyed several houses, as well as derailing a high-speed bullet train - a first-ever event - according to hospital officials and press reports.
