Schwarzenegger has to choose Bush or sex

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed that he got the cold shoulder from his democratic wife Maria Shriver after he praised President George W. Bush at the Republican convention.

The movie star politician told an audience late Monday that &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/fun/2001/12/21/24219.html ' target=_blank>Kennedy-family heiress Shriver was not amused at his electrifying speech in which he praised the conservative Bush as the best man for the &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/main/2003/01/03/41584.html ' target=_blank>White House.

"Well, there was no sex for 14 days," the Terminator star quipped when asked by former Democratic White House Chief of Staff Leon Pannetta of what the liberal Shriver thought of his backing for Bush, reports Indian Express.

Making matters worse for the moderate Republican is that he and his wife are close friends with Democratic presidential candidate &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/mailbox/22/101/399/14242_Kerry.html ' target=_blank>John Kerry.

They own neighbouring homes at the exclusive Idaho mountain resort of Sun Valley, and often ski and play ice hockey together.

Mr Schwarzenegger, wary of his own political allegiances, has sidestepped questions about whether Senator Kerry would make a good president.
