Two Palestinian teenagers were killed in Gaza Strip

An Israeli helicopter strike has killed two Palestinian teenagers in the northern &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/hotspots/2002/04/25/28032.html ' target=_blank>Gaza Strip, as the military continues a major offensive to try to stop militants from firing rockets into nearby Jewish settlements.

Residents of the Jabalya refugee camp say one of the teens was a militant. Israel's military says it fired on a group of gunmen who were trying to plant a bomb, says Voice of America.

Earlier in the day, Israeli troops shot dead an 11-year-old &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/hotspots/2001/08/13/12350.html ' target=_blank>Palestinian girl, Samah Nassar, in the northern Gaza town of BeitHanoun, said medics and witnesses, adding the girl was shot with two bullets in the head and the chest.

According to Palestinian medics, the number of Palestinians killed during the ongoing Israeli offensive is about to hit 100,over 30 of whom are children under 16, Xinhua News reported.

In a separate incident, a Palestinian working in a &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/world/2002/10/09/37939.html ' target=_blank>Jewish settlement in the southern Gaza Strip was shot dead during a militant attack, sources on both sides said Friday. Marzuk Abu Udwan, 50, was killed by Palestinian gunmen while working in a hothouse in Rafah Yam, medics and Israeli military sources said.
