Russian tourists return to Bulgaria

Bulgaria is gradually gaining back its position of a leader on the Russian tourist market.

The Balkan country becomes more and more attractive to Russians, officials say.

The same upward trend is observed with the flow of German tourists to Bulgaria.

According to Deputy Economy Minister Dimitar Hadzhinikolov the number of Germans visiting Bulgaria has reached a pretty high level, a trend that has to be maintained.

Bulgaria also expects an increase in the number of the Scandinavian, British, Polish and Hungarian tourists.
