Russia plans 7 emergency flights to pull contract workers from Iraq

Russia's Emergencies Ministry plans seven flights, using Il-62 aircraft, to evacuate an estimated 553 Russians and 263 persons from other nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States from Iraq, beginning Thursday morning. All the evacuees are in Iraq under Russian contracts for projects there.
