A new consignment of Russian goods brought to Kosovo

The second consignment of the Russian humanitarian aid for the Serbs who had suffered during the Albanians' attacks on March 17-20 was delivered to Kosovo on Monday.

Thirteen trucks of the Serbian Red Cross have brought to the north of the province all kinds of goods: equipment for the tent camp for 1,000 refugees, hygienic things, detergents, stationery and sports equipment for the Serbian schools. The humanitarian aid, weighing more than 40 tons, was brought to Belgrade on Friday by two planes of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

The first consignment of the Russian aid to the Kosovo Serbs arrived in Belgrade on Wednesday and was brought to Kosovo late last week.

Russia has decided to give Serbia all the necessary equipment for two tent camps which will be able to temporarily accommodate two thousand refugees. The program of the Russian aid to Serbian refugees include also the construction of a township for 200 families.
