President of World Bank hopes YUKOS problem will be resolved in court

President of the World Bank James Wolfensohn hopes the YUKOS problem will be resolved in court. He made this statement at a press conference in Moscow yesterday. He added that the World Bank was concerned about the investigation into YUKOS shareholders Leonid Nevzlin and Vladimir Dubov.

Fresh reports in the press today suggest that Russia has released an international warrant for the arrest of Mr Nevzlin. However, the Russian Attorney General's office has not yet commented on these reports. Mr Nevzlin's lawyer also told journalists that there has been no official arrest warrant.

Both Mr Nevzlin and Mr Dubov currently reside in Israel.
