Group of Indian commandos to guard their compatriots in Afghanistan

The Indian leadership took a decision to send to Afghanistan for guarding its diplomats and diplomatic missions a group of commandos from among border guards, the PPI agency said Friday.

This measure was taken after the remaining Taliban militants took hostage two Indian engineers a few days ago. The fundamentalists already voiced their threat to kill the hostages accusing them of espionage.

The Pakistani radio said another Indian engineer, telecommunications expert, was shot in the head the day before. The body has been sent to his homeland.
