Leaders of Adzharia and South Ossetia meet in Moscow

The leaders of Adzharia and South Ossetia (autonomous republics of Georgia), Aslan Abashidze and Eduard Kokoity, met in Moscow to discuss the situation in Georgia, head of the Adzhar Autonomous Republic's mission in Russia Badri Meladze said.

"We meet with our neighbors to discuss the events in Georgia and find a common language," said Meladze.

The aim of the meeting was to find ways to preserve stability in the region.

Abkhazia's mission in Moscow did not confirm the arrival of any of the non-recognized republic's leaders in Russia. On November 26, Abkhazia celebrates its Constitution Day, and the leaders of the republic will take part in the celebrations, the spokesman said.
