Ukraine adopts tough anti-pornography law

Ukraine's parliament has approved a strict ban on the distribution of pornographic videos and photographs. Legislators spoke of fears that a system of 'decadence' now flowering in the nation could lead to the moral ruin of the new generation, Rosbalt reported.

Those found guilty of distributing pornographic material in Ukraine will now face prison terms of five to 10 years. Lawyers in Ukraine say that, if the new law is implemented 'full blast,' the representatives of tens of audio and video companies and their local outlets could face arrest.
