Georgian radical opposition has nothing to say to Georgian President

'We have exhausted all resources for a dialogue with Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze and will not meet with him futher,' said radical opposition leader Mikhail Saakashvili in a meeting in Tbilisi yesterday. He also said that other opposition leaders including Nino Burdzhanadze and Zurab Zhvaniya maintain the same position.

Saakashvili also promised that he will collect enough signatures to force the resignation of Shevardnadze 'and then there will be no alternatives for the president.' He also called on the population to not sit at home, but to attend meetings and demonstrations and join in demanding the requirements of the people. The collection of signatures calling for Shevardnadze's resignation began on November 12 and is progressing slowly with approximately 2000 total signatures as of yesterday.
