Georgia's pro-presidential bloc aims at normalization of relations with Russia

Relations with Russia are a separate issue on the program of the pro-presidential election bloc "For New Georgia".

"The normalization of relations with Russia is Georgia's strategic priority. We are striving for partnership with Russia on the basis of equal rights, mutual respect and good-neighborliness both in bilateral relations and multilateral cooperation," reads the political program of the ruling bloc.

"The integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures and economic and security cooperation" remain the main principles of Georgia's foreign policy.

"We regard NATO as a cornerstone in the architecture of European security. Thus, Georgia considers integration into Euro-Atlantic structures a guarantee of its security," the document says.

The parliamentary elections in Georgia will take place on November 2.
