Armenia to sell Russian arms in Middle East

The Armenian government approved yesterday an agreement between Armenia and Russia to cooperate in arms sales. The Armenian government's press service told Rosbalt that the agreement will be signed in the near future.

The possibility of cooperation between the two countries in arms sales has been discussed for a long time. Armenia, through its diaspora in Libya, Syria and other countries, can be an effective middleman during the sale of Russian-made arms to the countries of the Middle East. One month ago the Belarussian parliament ratified an agreement on Armenia-Belarussian reciprocal military supplies.
