France, Russia and Sweden sign agreement on nuclear ecological security for Russia

A multi-lateral agreement on the nuclear ecological security for Russia was signed in Stockholm on May 21. The Swedish Foreign Ministry press service told Rosbalt that Swedish Foreign Minister Anna Lind, Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov and French Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepen participated in signing the agreement.

The multi-lateral agreement on the nuclear ecological security for Russia was worked out within the framework of the partnership 'Northern change' and provides for cooperation in three directions - utilization of radioactive waste, security of storing spent fuel and security of nuclear reactors.
