OSCE conference on rendering assistance to small and medium-sized businesses takes place in Switzerland

The Third International Conference devoted to rendering assistance to the development of small and medium-sized businesses, including in Russia, opens today in the premises of the Swiss National Council (parliament).

This conference, in which more than 80 MPs from 30 OSCE member countries will participate, has been organised on the initiative of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA).

The Bern conference will spotlight the possibility for MPs of all OSCE member countries and representatives of small and medium-sized businesses to meet and exchange opinions on the problems of their development.

The participants in the conference will also be able to acquaint themselves still better with the issues to be discussed and take them into account in their legislative activity.

Member of the Swiss parliament, vice-president of the OSCE PA Barbara Hering will chair the OSCE Third International Conference in Bern. Before, similar forums were held in Monaco (1977) and the French city of Nantes (1999).
