Bin Laden's Letter With Instructions to Attack Russia at US Authorities' Disposal

The US authorities have got hold of a letter written by Osama bin Laden himself. In the letter, The Washington Post newspaper reports on Saturday, the international terrorist suggests that his supporters "make a strike against Russia." The newspaper refers to US investigators who investigated the case of the Benevolence International Foundation, an Islamic charity organisation, which operated in the US and was connected with Chechen militants.

The investigation revealed that the organisation had sent $300,000 to Islamic militants in Chechnya and Bosnia and had direct contacts with Osama bin Laden.

The newspaper asserts that the investigators have got hold of correspondence between bin Laden and the Bosnia office of the Benevolence International Foundation. One of bin Laden's letters contained direct instructions to attack Russia. The original of the letter has been sent to the trial of the Islamic "charity" organisation underway in Chicago as material evidence.
