Large Anti-Submarine Ship Admiral Chabonenko Heading to Great Britain's Coast

The Admiral Chabonenko large anti-submarine ship left the sea port of Severomorsk and is heading to the coast of Great Britain. As the press service of the Norhern Fleet reported on Tuesday, the Admiral Chabonenko will participate in the festive activities to mark the 60th anniversary of the battle for the Atlantic.

Ships of the Navies of the countries which participated in the battle for the Atlantic and in the allies' convoys to Murmansk and other ports of Russia and Northern Europe will visit Great Britain from May 1 to 6.

The unofficial visit of the Admiral Chabonenko will be paid under the flag of the commander of the squadron of surface ships of the Northern Fleet, Vice-Admiral Gennady Radziyevsky.
