Four intends to recommend that Israel take response steps

At a meeting in New York, upcoming on Tuesday, the "four" international intermediaries on Mideastern settlement are intent to recommend that Israel take response measures to normalize the current situation in the region, Alexander Yakovenko, spokesman for the Russian Federation Foreign Ministry, informed RIA Novosti on Monday. According to him, "the response measures on the part of Israel should contribute to adjusting the situation, promoting the implementation of reforms and the resumption of negotiations on the final settlement".

Jordanian and Egyptian foreign ministers, the "four" intermediaries' influential regional partners, are expected to arrive in New York, Yakovenko reported.
