Federal Frontier Service Director to visit Japan

Russian Federal Frontier Service Director Konstantin Totsky will pay a routine visit to Japan on July 13-16 on an invitation from the Japanese side, the Federal Frontier Service press centre told RIA Novosti on Friday.

Totsky is scheduled to meet with the chief of the Japanese Sea Security Agency, the prime minister, foreign minister and the minister of land, transport and infrastructure.

Konstantin Totsky and Katsuhiko Navano, the chief of the Sea Security Agency, will discuss the condition and prospects for Russian-Japanese cooperation in the frontier sphere and coordinate joint measures on the fight against trans-border crime, including illegal catch and smuggling of sea biological resources, the Federal Frontier Service said.
