Airplane with bodies of Tu-154 crash victims to return to Ufa on July 13

The plane with identified bodies of the victims killed in the Tu-154 crash in Germany is expected in Ufa on Saturday night, said the Bashkir Airlines to RIA Novosti on Friday.

On Monday, July 8th, the capital of Bashkiria received first identified bodies of the crash victims. On the same day 27 of them were buried in Ufa, 5 - in different regions of the republic.

On Saturday, July 13th, the Soviet square in Ufa will see a farewell ceremony and a church service, like it was on Monday, and then the Ufa residents will be buried in Ufa, others - in their home towns.

According to the latest data, 62 out of the 71 bodies have been identified. Their names have not been announced, but a police spokesman said that there were 7 children, 33 teenagers, and 22 adults among the identified bodies, including 8 Tu-154 crew members and both pilots from the Boeing.

The identification is continuing. Experts intend to identify all the bodies in order to send them home by a special plane on Friday night.

On July 2nd the Russian passenger airliner Tu-154 belonging to the Bashkir Airlines company collided with the cargo Boeing-757 of the international air carrier DHL at 11,000 meters above Bodensee, Germany. There were 12 crew members and 57 passengers on board the Tu-154, 52 children going for a vacation, accompanied by 5 adults. The Boeing had two pilots on board.
