Hague Tribunal still to decide whether to lift part of charges against Slobodan Milosevic

The International Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia has not taken a decision to lift a part of charges against former Yugoslav president Slobodan Milosevic yet. These charges concern war crimes against Croats in Bosnia. A RIA Novosti correspondent reports that this information was disclosed to journalists by Tribunal's spokesperson Florence Artman.

According to her, the decision can be unfolded only following the July 18th session.

Graham Blewitt, a Deputy Prosecutor General of the Hague Tribunal, stated on Sunday that the Prosecutor's Office had not as much evidence concerning Serb crimes against Croats in Bosnia as of genocide against Muslims.

The Hague Tribunal has charged Milosevic on three counts and only one of them concerning Bosnia and Herzegovina deals with genocide.
