Parliamentary Assembly of Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe to meet in session in Berlin

The 11th annual session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe will meet in Berlin between July 6 and 10. It will be attended by more than 300 delegates from 55 OSCE states, including a Russian delegation led by State Duma speaker Gennady Seleznyov.

Session participants propose to focus on political, economic and humanitarian-legal aspects of the struggle against international terrorism, as well as key issues of all-European security.

While in Berlin, Seleznyov is scheduled to meet Wolfgang Thiersee and Klaus Wowereit, Bundestag and Bundesrat chairmen, Guido Westerwelle, chairman of the Free Democratic Party of Germany, and W.Gerke, deputy chairman of the Party of Democratic Socialism faction in the Bundestag.
