Search for plane fragments continues

German search-and-rescue services have discovered yet another site covered with debris of the two planes that collided above Boden See on the night of July 2nd, said a source in the chief police office of Baden-Wuerttemberg.

Located outside the town of Ravensburg 30 kilometers away from Ueberlingen, the site was discovered with the help of police helicopters.

According to the source, police are not expecting to find any bodies on the site, which appears to be covered with debris only.

As of this moment, emergency teams have failed to recover only 3 of the 71 bodies of crash victims. However, they expect to complete the search by Thursday evening by stepping up the number of rescuers working on the site of the catastrophe.

The tragedy occurred above Germany's Boden See area on the night of July 2nd. Russia's Tu-154 passenger jet belonging to Bashkir Airlines and a Boeing-757 cargo jet belonging to DHL company crashed into each other at an altitude of 11,000 meters, killing the 12 crew and 57 passengers on board the Tu-154 and the 2 pilots on board the Boeing. Of the passengers, 52 were children headed for a summer vacation.
