37 bodies discovered at aircrash site

According to the latest information, the bodies of 37 people have been found at the site of the crash of the Russian Tu-154 liner and a Boeing cargo plane. RIA Novosti learned this by telephone from a spokesman for the police of Baden-Wuerttemberg Land. He said that fragments of several more bodies were also discovered. The police representative reported that 900 policemen, as well as firemen, rescue workers and technical experts are currently working at the site of the crash.

On Wednesday morning a 20-man strong team of psychologists have come to the site to help the personnel engaged in rescue work.

On the night to July 2 a Russian Tu-154 passenger air liner of the Bashkirian Airlines and a Boeing-757 cargo plane of the DHL international air transportation company collided in the area of Boden See at a height of 11,000 metres.

On board the Tu-154 were 12 crewmembers and 57 passengers -- 52 children travelling for a summer vacation and 5 adults accompanying them. On board the Boeing were 2 pilots. All were killed.
