Interior Minister of Russia and Interpol Secretary-General to meet in Moscow

A working meeting between Secretary-General of Interpol Ronald Kenneth Noble with Minister of the Interior of Russia Boris Gryzlov will be held at the Interior Ministry of Russia on Thursday.

As RIA Novosti was told at the Interior Ministry of Russia, during the meeting the heads of the law-enforcement agencies will discuss interaction in the sphere of struggle against international terrorism, transnational crime, and drugs and arms trafficking, as well as the problems of illegal migration.

The chief of the international criminal police organisation also intends to hold a number of meetings with the heads of the federal departments which use the Interpol possibilities in their work. Within his visit Noble plans to visit some sub-units of the Interior Ministry of Russia and to meet with representatives of the National Bureau of Interpol.

A vast cultural programme is envisaged in the course of which the head of Interpol will see Moscow's sights.
