The RTM-500 telecontrollable underwater apparatus is continuing examination of the wreck site of the Kursk nuclear submarine, which sank in the Barents Sea about two years ago. The apparatus is controlled from aboard the Mikhail Rudnitsky vessel. This information was disclosed on Tuesday by Vladimir Navrotsky, the Press Service Chief of the Russian Northern Fleet.
According to him, Northern Fleet experts are determining ways to salvage the first compartment of the sub.
The Press Service Chief also said that the compartment and two vacuum anchors will be blown up when all necessary elements have been salvaged. This will be done to ensure navigation security in the area.
Navrotsky added that a mono-torpedo unit of the Northern Fleet will blow up the compartment and anchors by means of three 300-m cable charges. After the explosion, submarine vehicles will examine the area again.
After it turned out that Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov included the Fonbet betting company in the list of backbone enterprises that can count on state support, everyone started talking about these bookmakers.
