Norwegian Navy battle ships arrived at main base of Baltic Fleet

On Monday two sweep vessels of the Norwegian Navy docked in Baltiisk -the main naval base of the Russian Baltic Fleet. On board of the ships was an official military delegation headed by Commander-in-Chief of the South Norway Armed Forces Lieutenant-General Torstein Skjtaker and Commander of the South Norway Navy Rear Admiral Jan Rexten.

The heads of the delegation will discuss with the Baltic Fleet's top brass the possibilities of further cooperation between the fleets of the two countries, and will gain an insight into the organisation of training and everyday life on board Russian ships and in depots of ground and coast guard forces of the Baltic Fleet.
