Karachai-Circassia's government has satisfied the requirement of the republic's prosecutor Vladimir Gannochka to close the "International Karachai-Circassian-Turkish lyceum", said deputy prosecutor of the republic Igor Darmilov on Wednesday. The petition to Karachai-Circassia's government contained the exact breaches of Russian law made four year ago when the lyceum was founded and in the process of its development. There was no joint administration proclaimed by the founders in the lyceum's regulations. All governing functions have been performed by the Turkish side - a principal and his subordinates the number of which was twice as much as the required number of teachers. Some of them have no qualification of a teacher and lack in the relevant experience in this sphere and some have even come without a permission from the migration services. 13 out of the 18 subjects are taught in Turkish and English only, while lyceum pupils were supposed to learn them in Russian, with Turkish and English being optional, Darmilov said. In the course of the prosecutor's examination other flagrant breaches were revealed, which gave the republican prosecutor grounds to file a petition for depriving the lyceum of the right to conduct educational activity and annulling its certificate of national accreditation.
