Ctbto delegation to meet Uzbek leadership

A Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organisation (CTBTO) delegation headed by its Executive Secretary Wolfgang Hoffmann is to arrive Friday in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent. The delegation members are to meet the same day Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov, and hold negotiations with Uzbek Academy of Sciences President Bekhzod Yuldashev at the Institute of Nuclear Physics. The program of Wolfgang Hoffmann's visit to Uzbekistan envisages talks with the director general of the scientific center "Sciences of Earth" and the Seismology Institute director. On May 11th, the CTBTO delegation will head for Bukhara. After sightseeing it is to visit the Bukhara State University and Bukhara scientific center. On the May 12 afternoon, the delegation is to return to Tashkent, where it will see the applied art museum and conduct negotiations in the Institute of Strategic and Interregional Research under the Uzbek President and visit the museum of Timurides' history.
