In the exposition of the Sukhoi aviation military-industrial complex at the Ila-2002 air show in Berlin emphasis is made on the presentation of systems of servicing of aircraft and on civil projects. As deputy director-general of the concern Alexander Klementyev said in an interview with RIA Novosti, the aircraft of the Sukhoi complex are either already exported, or participate in international tenders. The theme of servicing has been of late a priority in the activity of the company which strives to make the quality of servicing as high as the technical characteristics of the Su airplanes are. According to Klementyev, the company is making efforts to diversify the aviation hardware it produces. Ideally, the company would like to achieve an equal proportion of its military and civil products. In this connection, new aircraft which are at the stage of flight trials - the Su-38L light agricultural aeroplane, the multifunction Su-80 GP, and the BE-103 light amphibian aeroplane, as well as the already well-known Su-29KS and Su-31M aerobatic aeroplanes are on display in Berlin. In the field of civil aviation the Sukhoi management has made a stake on two promising projects implying international cooperation, the representative of the concern emphasized. One of them is the family of regional passenger aircraft on which the Sukhoi company works together with the well-known firms Boeing and Ilyushin. The other project is the S-21 supersonic passenger business-class aircraft the interest in which on the part of the potential foreign investors has perceptibly increased of late.
