Mr. Luzhkov, believing this may considerably heighten the status of the games, charged the Sports Committee of Moscow with informing of this the presidents of the participating countries and their sports delegations. Mr. Luzhkov hopes Jacques Rogge and Juan Antonio Samaranch, the former IOC President will be able to come to Moscow for the opening ceremony of the youth games.
