Action of NOGA Swiss company is "legal terrorism" according to leadership of MIG concern

The leadership of Russia's MIG aircraft building corporation thinks that what the NOGA Swiss company does to ensure a lawsuit against the Russian Government is "legal terrorism." MIG Deputy General Director Vyacheslav Meleshko made such a comment on the situation at the ILA-2002 airshow in Berlin. According to him, the MIG leadership decided not to exhibit its MiG-29M2 newest fighter and the Il-103 multifunctional plane at the Berlin Airshow to avoid what happened at the latest Paris Airshow when the exhibited MiG-AT plane was arrested by the French court to ensure the lawsuit of the NOGA Swiss Company against the Russian government. Meleshko stressed that the MIG Corporation appealed beforehand to German legal instances to guarantee that the Russian exhibits would be safe. But the court of the first instance and then the court of a higher instance, on April 30, refused to do it officially. As a result the fighter together with Il-103 remained at home. Specialists who visited the airshow today morning at the MIG Russian pavilion expressed their disappointment with the absence of the fighter. They are interested to watch videos with the fighter's flights and talk with the pilots who were happy to operate it.
