Russia's Ministry of Interior Wants to Set up Organised Crime Workgroup with FBI

According to a Deputy Head of the Chief Counter-Organised Crime Directorate of the Ministry of interior of Russia, Viktor Plekhanov, the ministry has suggested to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that a workgroup to counter organised crime be set up. The issue will be discussed between representatives from the two agencies on May 17. At this time, representatives of the Ministry of Interior of Russia work in 7 countries, their colleagues from 20 countries set up in Moscow. The most effective is Russia's cooperation with Germany. Similar workgroups are about to be set up jointly with the law enforcement agencies of Israel, Hungary, and Spain.
