Presidents Of Russia, Tajikistan And Afghanistan Demand Taliban Unconditionally Meet Anti-terrorist Coalition's Terms

Unconditional fulfilment of the demands of the anti-terrorist coalition is an indispensable condition of transferring the resolution of the situation in Afghanistan into a political channel, says a statement adopted after the Monday meeting of the presidents of Russia, Tajikistan and the Islamic State of Afghanistan in Dushanbe, reports the RIA Novosti correspondent. The document notes that the demand, in particular, includes extradition of the inspirers and organizers of the September 11 acts of terror in New York and Washington, elimination of the rule of the Taliban who have given shelter to terrorist and extremist groupings on territory in their control, disbandment and the complete disarmament of their armed formations. Another factor for settling the situation in Afghanistan is to speed up the process of the political settlement, states the document. The Presidents again noted their readiness to actively join in that important work.
