Meeting Between Vladimir Putin And Junichiro Koizumi Held In Shanghai

A meeting between President Vladimir Putin of Russia and Prime Minister of Japan Junichiro Koizumi has been held in Shanghai. The Japanese premier noted at the beginning of the meeting that Vladimir Putin's speech at the APEC forum on the problem of combating international terrorism "was very convincing." Vladimir Putin noted in turn that "the Japanese premier's speech at the forum on the problems of education and upgrading of human potential corresponds to our conceptions."
