A delegation headed by Chairman of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe /OSCE/, Romanian Foreign Minister Mircea Geoana embarks on a two-day working visit to Tashkent on Sunday to meet with Uzbek Prime Minister Utkir Sultanov, Chairman of the Oliy Mazhlis, or the Uzbek parliament, Erkin Khalilov, and Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov. Later in the day, he is expected to have an audience with the country's leader Islam Karimov in the presidential residence of Oksaroi. Talks between the delegation and Uzbek officials will focus on the prospects of cooperation between the OSCE and Uzbekistan and topical international problems, including regional security in the light of the latest developments in Afghanistan, told RIA Novosti OSCE representative to Central Asia Ganco Gancev.
