India To Allocate Over Hundred Million Dollars For The Post-war Rehabilitation Of Afghanistan

The Indian government will grant a credit of more than a hundred million dollars for the post-war rehabilitation of Afghanistan, said a spokesman for the Indian government. This decision was taken at the session of the Indian Security Committee on October 19. This session also considered the question of sending to Afghanistan a million tons of wheat as a humanitarian aid for the Afghan population and the Afghan refugees in Pakistan. Since the Pakistan side has stated that it has no premises to store this wheat, the Indian government intends to ask the United Nations' missions to help in delivering the humanitarian aid. Apart from that, the session took a decision to send to the USA a consignment of antibiotics which are used in treating anthrax.
