Israel To Break Off Any Contacts With Palestine Leaders

Israel is going to break off all the contacts with the Palestinian leaders. According to a RIA Novosti correspondent, this decision was adopted Wednesday at a conference of the so-called "narrow" cabinet of Israel in the wake of the murder of Rehavam Ze'evy. Officially, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, opposing the Palestinian National Authority of Yasser Arafat, has assumed the responsibility for the murder. However, Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres has disagreed with breaking off all the contacts with the Palestinian top. The Israelis are now putting the blame for the murder on the Palestinian leadership as a whole. They accuse the latter for inactivity in barring Palestine-based radical Islamic organizations from anti-Israeli actions. Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon echoed US president George W. Bush after the September 11 events, in telling the conference that a new epoch had begun, since today everything would be different, and things would never be the same again. In particular, it was decided to no longer ease the isolation of the Palestinian Authority. The Israeli troops will resume the blockade of the Palestinian town of Ramallah in the West Bank. The murderers reportedly arrived from this town. Israel is also going to continue destroying the Palestinian commanders who, in his opinion, are involved in terrorist activities.
